Auguste Renoir was a famous French artist who was highly known for his contribution to the growth of painting. Renoir used the impressionist style, which was a unique 19th mode of painting. Usually, Renoir's paints are effectively recognized due to the application of vibrant light and saturated color. In, most of his paintings concentrated on people who are close and are characterized by frank compositions. Dance at the Moulin de la Galette is one of the most famous impressionist paintings of Renoir that was made in 1876. The picture is preserved in Musee d'Orsay, Paris.
In Dance at the Moulin de la Galette, Renoir focuses on the 19th-century social aspect (Somervill, 2019). The Moulin de la Galette is an open-air dance hall and cafe, which is a good ground for entertainment. The appearance of the environment in the region formed the background approach that Renoir used to paint the image. In the 1870s, Renoir had attended a Sunday afternoon dance (Somervill, 2019). During the ceremony, Renoir was attracted to viewing happy couples enjoying in different styles.
