In the nursing profession, leadership skills are essential in controlling the sector and ensuring that human resources perform its duties in the best possible. The healthcare industry is one of the crucial areas for any nation as it ensures that the healthcare of any society is well taken care. There have been many concerns by Executives in the healthcare profession to ensure they serve their clients better (Florentine, S., 2020). There have been many approaches to ensure the underlying challenges are addressed and thus offer quality services. The main focus shall be an in-depth analysis of the principles of organizational performance in management.
Patient Population
There have been various systems that have been introduced to ensure a quality healthcare system has been provided to the citizens. Some of the innovative approaches include a balanced scorecard, among other measures to ensure that patients get the best services from the healthcare centers. My patient population is the Antepartum women as well as the children who are in the labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Unit.
There are several outcomes from the various indicators which are presented. In the case of performance, patient satisfaction has to be improved. The customer base has to be enhanced and thus make the number of OB units increase. This will translate to a rise in the amount of revenue generated. Regarding the quality, the time has to be reduced and thus ensure that the customers are served much better. The reduction of the time in conducting the test, will translate into quality improvement. The number of newborn infections will thus reduce and result in improved healthcare. Regarding patient safety, there will be a reduction in the risk post-delivery unit through the Stedy Transfer device, and this means the mothers will have a safe delivery. The staff will also be protected from the risks that they may face as they conduct their jobs. For the case of engagement, the nurses must be certified to ensure the nursing level is improved. This will help to reduce the cost of staff hiring within the health care centers.

The need to increase the revenue for healthcare is one of the drivers, making organizations improve the facilities' performance.
