The simulation project was a learning contract on how to manage the stakeholders, create corporate social responsibility policy, identify negative external cost of production and how to go green and mitigate them, analyze the wage structure of the employees and how the CSR affects the payment operations of the company. The formation of the team was based on the merit whereby we selected ourselves by how we perform academically. The group worked collectively as a unit through various reflective discussion sessions after simulation. Everybody contributed equally to the group which was facilitated by the level of group diversity in terms of skills and strengths. My main contribution to the group was the delegation of group activities since I was elected the leader of the team. This gave me an opportunity to practice real-life management through initiating activities, identifying problems, seeking clarifications and feedback as well as resolving the emerging conflicts. In retrospect, the simulation was informative and educative since I garnered skills such as effective communication with the team members, stakeholders and the employees in an organization hence giving me management hands-on skills. Additionally, I learned on how to problems identification and how to develop policies based on the selected solutions. More so, I improved my team working skills hence the group simulation project was successful.

To all Stakeholders,
Re: Change of Policies
I write to you today from a more efficient, more competitive and more stronger perspective. For the last couple of years, we have been aversive to protect our protect margins and improved the financial performance. However, for the last couple of days, we have reviewed and examined the impact of wage policies on production and to the overall bottom line of the company. We have made justifications that improving the minimum wages of our employees has an immediate impact on the motivation and performance of the employee. We have also noticed that the current policy on the break even, pension and other forms of payment are limiting in some manner. Therefore, the committee of wages and operations of the system has systematically reviewed and improved the live minimum salary of our employee from $ 12 per hour to 14$ per hour an increase which we believe will increase the loyalty as well as boost the morale of working with us. The cornerstone of this policy and the systematic change is underlined from the unwavering commitment to our values of social responsibilities and responsible operations. We highly believe that people will approach the work with new passion and spirit and we look forward to having another great year improved corporate social responsibility as well as great and improved strong performance.

To All Staff Members,
Re: Wage Policy Change
Since the last quarter update, a lot has happened and we are optimistic about the changes we are currently undergoing on our operations. Traditionally, we have slow summer starts due to the holiday which always makes us perform below our company metrics thresholds, however, this summer we have evidenced improvement. We are proud to say that we are planning to build on that improvement with the current initiatives that the committees and the board of directors are planning to get them underway. We are pleased to announce significant changes in the minimum wages that we have scrapped and revised it. We have improved the current minimum live wage rate by 2$ per hour and additional benefits on improved payments on breakups, pensions and other payment policies. We aim to keep high spirit on social responsibilities and our values. We value our employees, and we believe that the increase will be similarly reflected in the overall company performance.
Thank you for your contributions in achieving a great first quarter of the year, and we will continue making steady but encouraging steps towards improving performance and production of the company as well as contributing to the general welfare of our employees. We have no doubts that if we work collectively as a team, we will exceed our objectives.
Yours Sincerely.

Statement of Policy
Over a couple of years, the God Technology company have been paying the employees below the minimum threshold of living wages. However, the company seeks to rectify that by contributing positively to the community through our well established and outlined corporate social responsibilities which will remedy the shortcomings of the set wages which are subject to other macroeconomic factors such as inflation. The company, therefore, has excellent policy outline explaining the firm's initiatives on the CSR.
The ethical policy statement of the God Technology takes into consideration the economic, environmental and social impact on the way it will carry out its business. The company aims to align with set business values by demonstrating the commitment to the CSR initiatives while embedding these values to ethical principles of everything the company does. Through embracing the CSR, the company will be actively searching for the opportunities to improve the environment and contribute to the overall welfare of the communities that the business operates. The aspects of the statement cover the approach in dealing with the suppliers, clients, the local community in an attempt to go green, recycling and reducing the carbon footprint (Krugman, 2010). The company corporate social responsibility is guided by principles of shared obligations, that is, it involves everyone in the company which implies sharing responsibilities and rewards, openness and accountability whereby we communicate the CSR objectives, policies and performance honestly and openly to the people in organization, partners, as well as stakeholders, continuous improvement through improving and measuring the CSR performance. Additionally, the principle will cover the compliance aspect where the company will establish the minimum threshold and finally, programmes and policies will be established through the following thematic areas:
Environment
The environment protection is pivotal to the growth of the God Technology company and therefore the company considers to be sound to practice care of the environment. The environment is the company's critical responsibility, and an integral part of the company operated its business. In the policy statement, the company commits to:

Being upfront in honesty about the services and the products and telling them what they need to know comprising of or social responsibilities.
Ensuring that the documentation and advertising about various CSR activities are transparent, within legal lines, truthful and informative.
Benchmarking what the company needs and evaluate its reliability regarding the CSR obligations and the market demand.
Go Green Policy
The policy of go green refers merely to the initiatives that the company takes to practice the sustainable and cost-effective business operations. Organizations and industries increase their profits, protect their environment by encouraging and practicing the green technologies, green practices, and the green materials. Most of the companies embrace the green business strategy right from their inception while others have to incur significant changes to green practices. The God Technology company has made tremendous steps in going green by hiring professionals who are making green policies and coordinate the implementation of the green business practices. These professionals will oversee the company waste handling, sustainable products, sourcing, recycling of products and materials, reduction of carbon footprint among other green initiatives (Baron, 2003). Our green policy statement is as ascribed below.
The Policy Statement
The God Technology company recognizes the impact of our business on the environment, and we, therefore, commit ourselves to lead the company in minimizing the effects through reduction of the negative effects of both the office and field operations on the environment. The following principles will form the guidelines of the adherence:
- Waste minimization by reusing, rethinking, recycling, repairing of pieces of equipment and materials.
- Comply with the Leeds green standards and the relevant environmental regulations.
- Commit to continuous improvement by researching new strategies and getting recommendations from the leading green business programs.
- Communicating, training, and educating the employees on how to promote green practices and how to implement the green strategies.
- Educating and openly sharing green information with our partners, clients, and the suppliers.
Apparently, to ensure sustainability and environmentally sound green practices, the company simulation identified two selected areas of focus which includes the recycling and reduction of carbon footprint. On the issue of recycling and reducing carbon footprints the team agreed on the following checklists.
- Recycle all the aluminum, plastic and glass equipment
- Recycle papers including the mixed paper, newspaper and the office paper
- Elect a recycling coordinator to maintain and monitor composting and recycling programs
- Collect the garbage prohibited items such as the batteries, phones and design a program for safe disposal.
- Use renewable energy sources to reduce the emission of carbon
- Purchase the carbon offsets
- Develop gadgets using the LED lightbulbs
- Limit the power consumption
Conclusion
In conclusion, the ultimate objective of the simulation was to come up with sustainable operations of the company. That meant simulation and consideration of the welfare of the employees as well as the well being of the community which manifests itself in the company Corporate Social Responsibility (Addis et al. 2011). The initiatives to go green compensates for the live wages and other payments of our customers which would otherwise be spent on external costs caused by our negligence of environment and other externalities.
