The areas my writing that I would need to improve to be successful in this seminar and the MSW program include my knowledge of the APA format. For instance, I will need to learn how to appropriately do citations, references, as well as headings in the APA writing format. Again, for a successful seminar and MSW program, I will ensure to have a clear thesis or statement of intent at the introduction. Regardless of whether they are academic assignments or not, I will also need to provide strong and thorough analytical skills and also demonstrate an in-depth response to questions, items and prompts and ensure that they are free of any grammatical mistakes.

To improve my writing, I would ensure to visit APA central websites as well as the writing centers provided by the program. Seeking information from such sources would enable me to have the necessary skills to complete assignments in APA. I will ensure to put the information gained into practice.

List two action steps you will take to ensure you meet assignment deadlines and stay on track with your practicum hours over the next 32 weeks.

In terms of organizational skills, I need to improve on how I plan for various activities within the MSW. Again I need to improve on my time management skills and learn to check the assignment due dates to ensure that I deliver as scheduled. The necessary actions I would take to meet the assignment deadline and stay on track within the practicum hours over the next 32 weeks include; drawing plans with a consideration of the assignment due dates. Again, I will ensure to review assignments ahead of time to ensure to give timely responses for any questions, prompts, or other tasks. I will ensure that all the assignments are done on time and that any question that needs to be addressed by the faculty are channeled in good time with a view of obtaining a timely response.

In case of any concern in the field, I would ensure to communicate with the instructors regularly to ensure that I stay on track and that the concern is solved professionally and respectfully. Regular consultation and communication would be highly enhanced during the program. I will also ensure that I listen to the instructor's viewpoint in case of any problems and issues as well as adopt his recommendations during the entire period.
