Over the past years, a large number of immigrants crossed the borders and joined the United States of America. Many of these immigrants have abandoned their jobs, nations, children, lifestyles, politics, and abandoned many things in pursuit of the most valuable thing in life. They are always in pursuit of the dream, the American Dream that many Americans cherishes all the time. American dream is an aspect that is common but viewed differently from time to time. But in most cases, The American dream share some element of same aspect in these views. In my opinion, The American Dream is the capacity of delving in own personal freedom, being in a position of attaining quality education, finding a suitable job, being surrounded with a happy and successful family, and ultimately staying comfortably (Burrows 15).

The American dream is deeply rooted in the interest to better ones life by striving to attain all the factors that would make life comfortable to live. American constitution envisages and provides for freedom of everyone living on American soil. Individuals are in position to make their own decisions that affect their lives. It is therefore, personal initiative to make decisions that would drive one towards achieving the dream by overcoming challenges and difficulties. A person in pursuit of this dream is at liberty to choose learning institutions to attend, career paths to pursue, and chooses who to date and ultimately marry (Burrows 20).

According to Martin Luther King, The America Dream is to experience equality for all but mostly in the interest of African America. He fought tirelessly for the African Americans to attain total freedom. He strongly believed that total freedom would entail equal freedom for both Americans and African Americans (Stout and Le 1338-1359).

In conclusion, irrespective of what views different people have about The American Dream, it is monumental to have a common interest of making America a better place to live and work in, a place where success is inevitable, thus The American Dream. It is a symbol of a stable America in entirety. Long Live The American Dream.
