A trend refers to a common direction of a given market or of the price of an asset. Trends can vary in period such as it may be from short term, to intermediate, to the long period. Identifying a trend is profitable, because a customer will be able to trade with the current trend.
A trend analysis refers to an aspect of technical analysis that usually tries to focus the future aim of a stock of a given organization. .it is based on the past data and on the ideal idea that what happened previously provides the traders with an idea that will happen in the near future.
Trend analysis helps predict a specific trend such as bull market run and ride that will trend until data outputs a trend reversal. Trend analysis is very important since it will lead to the firm getting profit from the investor.
