Gregory Porter- Jazz Musician

Gregory Porter is an African –American singer who displays his prowess on jazz music whenever he performs. He has been able to combine his jazz music with blues, which has made him very attractive in America and the world at large, now ender BBC describes him as "worryingly rare breed." Porter sings under as record label of Motema. He is known for his songs such as "Water," "Liquid Spirit," and “Take Me To The Alley." The flavor brought by blues has enabled Porter jazz music to be embraced by both the old and the young alike from most parts of the world (Burkholder, 2019). In the United States, Porter has won many awards due to his diverse way of presenting Jazz and has made him stand tall among his peers. The songwriter is a dynamic performer who, whenever he is on stage, can always pull surprises to the audience.

I find his music so entertaining and would listen to his songs the whole day. The artistic nature and the incorporation of blues make the songs so fresh and new every time I listen to them. I wish he could produce more of this kind and the upcoming jazz artists to follow on his steps so that music can be more appealing and to be able to up with the dynamic population. his song Waters is so infectious to me, and it rings on my head, and every time I listen to it, it is always so fresh and new. I have been able to attend many of his concerts and am his number one fun.
