The objective of the company is to manufacture sports equipment and clothing such as ski boots and bindings.
Salary
Paychecks will be out on 29 of every month, and if that day is on holiday they will be provided on the closest day before the holiday. Workers will be paid the amount indicated on their contract. They will reflect the task the employee carried out for a whole month. Paycheck comprises salary and wages earned less elected or mandatory deductions such as federal withholding tax and any benefit contribution plan. An individual is free to enter a contact for any additional deduction from his/her paycheck. In the case of a misplaced figure in the paycheck notify your supervisor as soon as possible so that it can be fixed.
Conditions of employment
All workers are supposed to work eight hours per day in accordance with the labor laws and working extra time will mean overtime which will be added to the salary. This business enterprise allocates positions, fixes wages and rewards workers for overtime in agreement with state and local laws and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Overtime is also regarded if employees work on Sundays, public holidays. The employees are also entitled to sick leave, family responsibility leaves, annual leave and maternity leave.
The business upholds regular working hours of eight hours per day. Depending on the job description and the location of work, the hours of working may differ from one individual to the other. Supervisors and all head of departments will provide workers with their work timetable. If workers have any problem or question regarding their work schedule, they should consult their supervisor. This business does not accept absenteeism without a valid excuse. If a worker plan not to attend to work the following day he/she should notify the supervisor, and in case it is an emergency, he/she should call and explain the situation to the supervisor. Workers who will attend to work late than 8:00 am must report to the supervisor before attending their duty. Continuous absenteeism will lead to a disciplinary action. Workers who want to leave early due to illness or other needing issues should notify a supervisor before leaving the work. Unlawful departures from work will lead to a disciplinary action.
Tardiness
Workers are expected to arrive on time and ready for work. A worker who arrive past 8: am is considered tardy, and if he/she does not give a valid reason he/she will be subject to disciplinary action.
Breaks
Workers are entitled to fifteen minutes break after every four hours they work per day. Meal periods are for thirty minutes.
Professional Conduct
This enterprise expects that; all personnel's should follow standards of integrity and professional conduct. Therefore, this will lead to a productive working environment which is safe and comfortable for everyone. Employees are expected to be courteous, respectful and mind their fellow members' needs and feelings. There should be cooperation between supervisors and coworkers and employees who will behave disrespectfully will be in for a disciplinary action.
Dress Code
Workers should dress decently because their appearance is the image of the business. In this enterprise, lower subordinates will wear uniforms and protective clothes for their safety at work. Employees Compensation
In accordance with the law, the business will provide employees' reimbursement benefits for the protection of employees with work-related illnesses and injuries. If a worker is injured on duty, he/she will be compensated once the matter is reported to the supervisor. Disability insurance will be offered to any employee who becomes disabled while performing his/her duty at work.
Key performance indicators
The company will use several KPIs to measure workers performances. They will help the company to evaluate the success of the business in reaching their targets. Workers are advised to be specific about their goals and also work within the estimated time frame. The company employs several methods of improving employees' performance by using total rewards initiatives which offer a straight incentive for worker productivity. Some features such bonuses, occur when workers meet the set performance standards. These incentives also include training, professional development, and performance management which are only developed through education and training.
Accountability in the Workplace
As an employee, one has to be responsible and complete the tasks assigned. The worker has to perform the duties as required the job description. The worker must also be available for proper shifts to accomplish or additional the objectives of the company. The employee will be accountable for the consequences that result if he fails to complete his job or achieve his targets.
They must show accountability by being present throughout their shifts, and be finishing all duties assigned to them and working with other workers to meet the common goal of the company.
