Working in a transcultural environment can trigger different innovation and invention, increases competition and hence profits gives way to a wide range of products and services. Transcultural environment gives rise to special talents that increase productivity of a community or group through diverse skills. Moreover, culturally diverse towns show great performance in many activities and are more productive. People that work in such towns find big and many opportunities for personal and professional development making their lives better in the long run. A multicultural city always finds many solutions to the challenges it faces, thus selecting the best one to curb their issues cost-effectively efficiently (McFarland, 2013).

On the hand, some people in cities with cultural diversity hold back their talents and voices in fear of rejection or disgrace without knowing the impact it could have on their community. Some cultures might dominate others, killing their originality with time. Different societies have varied working etiquette rules that might bring severe misunderstandings among colleagues (Shen, 2015). It is challenging to master many languages, and hence some people find it challenging to interact with the people around them. Moreover, multicultural communities find it difficult to supply visa requirements and formulate employment laws because of the conflicting culture rules and roles. Besides, the cost of complying with the workplace needs to fit every culture is high (Shen, 2015).

The article "The Theory of Culture Care and Diversity" written by Marlyn R. McFarland and Hiba B. Wehbe-Alamah expound on how cultural differences and similarities in various communities living together can help the nursing profession as a whole. Nursing advancement affect the people in that field in a positive way for the better good of health for everyone regardless of origin, social groups, race, gender, just to mention a few (McFarland & Wehbe-Alamah, 2014) .
