It is essential to dwell on things that bring peace and make everyone happy as opposed to something that brings chaos and unhappiness. Everyone must have peace and faith that God is always there to take care of all human beings, and thus everyone should embrace peace. In the story, different attitudes can be gathered and compared as one tries to understand the story. The narration of the story is one aspect of the story that can be analyzed and compared (Lynn 127). Chinua Achebe narrates the story. He is a world-renowned writer who tells the story from a third-person perspective. However, he is not the protagonist of the story. He says the story through the eyes of Jonathan Iwegbu, who is the protagonist in the story. He is the character in the story (Amuta 15). The use of the title civil peace is ironic compared to what the story is all about in the narration. The story is about the Nigerian civil war, and the events during the Biafra War dominate the story. Therefore using public peace as the title is compared to using the title civil unrest (Lynn 127).

Chinua Achebe is one of the African giants. He brings out his stories in a captivating way for current and future generations.
