Introduction
Various forms of energy production have been identified in the world. Energy production comes with multiple advantages that change the number of multiple activities to be performed easily by applying the energy produced. However, various disadvantages are associated with energy production. The scientists have identified diseases like cancer caused by the production of energy that is safe for human consumption (Sanderson et al., 2020). Therefore, scientists need to develop a better renewable source of energy that the future can rely on in Canada. With the increasing rate of negative cases associated with non-renewable energy, Canada needs to invest in biomass as their primary renewable energy source because it is a cheap and environmentally friendly procedure for energy production.
Biomass Energy Production
Biomass energy is a type of energy production that is produced from living things. Living things comprises of animal waste, plants, and decomposing materials from dead living things. According to Bello 2020, the most common form of biomass energy plants like corn or soy. This kind of plant our turn to produce heat, which is better converted to electricity. Biomass energy is considered organic because it is produced from living organisms or thinks that they lived like plants and animals at one point in life. The wastes from animals and the decomposition were from plants that turn to a meathead that can be harvested and utilized to produce electricity, which can be used in the running of various machines (Sanderson et al., 2020). Thus, biomass energy is considered a renewable source of energy because the biomass feedstock is biological. The energy from their biological sources can be turned either directly or indirectly to produce energy.
Canada needs to adopt the use of biogas as the main source of energy production. It is because biomass energy production is a renewable source and has no negative impact on the environment. According to Oen (2020), non-renewable sources of energy are dangerous for other living things. They made it difficult for the government of Canada to continue producing energy using non-renewable sources. Therefore, it is recommended that the government enforce biomass energy production because it does not emit harmful particles to the environment. The non-renewable sources of energy have various disadvantages that are hazardous to both living and nonliving things in the world.
Non-Renewable Sources of Energy
For a long time, Canada has been using renewable sources of energy as the main form of energy production. It is because then I have reliable sources of energy used to give more energy compared to renewable sources over a shorter duration of time. However, the various problems that were associated with non-renewable sources of energy production. With the increase of global warming, which was changing the weather patterns in the whole world, it was essential for the countries to take a further step by encouraging renewable sources of energy. According to Martins (2019), Nations Under the environment umbrella came together. They agreed to sign a treaty that could see their respective nation adjust from non-renewable sources of energy to the use of renewable sources. The move was unanimously agreed upon because of the negative impact that was being associated with the non-renewable sources of energy.
Disadvantages of non-renewable Sources of Energy
There are various disadvantages associated with non-renewable sources of energy. Firstly, the non-renewable sources of energy are not readily available at any point. They are centralized at a specific point where people living within the vicinity of the sources can directly benefit. It makes it cumbersome for people living far away from the site to access energy. It makes fewer people benefit from energy (NRCAN., 2020). Also, non-renewable sources produce more power that is harmful to the environment during their refining process. For instance, taking a barrel of crude oil, 80% of Non-biodegradable elements can affect the normal Leaving King and nurture the animals and prevent aquatic life from accessing air (Ali et al., 2020). According to Martins (2016), the continuous use of non-renewable sources is dangerous to the environment because it exhausts fossil fuels. In a span of time, the fossils fuel might extinct, leaving the world in a problem of energy production. Therefore, with all this negative impact associated with the non-renewable sources of energy, the Canadian government was prudent to develop a biomass energy production method that could act as an alternative to the non-renewable sources of energy.
Advantage of Biomass energy
Various benefits are associated with biomass energy. For instance, since renewable energy is coming from animal wastes and plants, the biomass production will never run out. Renewable energy sources are always available for consumers' use (Ali et al., 2020). Also, the maintenance of biomass energy production is very cheap compared to the non-renewable source, where it requires a lot of financial support in managing its productivity. It's affordable for everybody, and it saves money that can be directed to other useful projects.
The government of Canada needs to embrace biomass energy because it has environmental and health benefits compared to the other sources of energy production. Environmentally friendly, where animals and plants exist, cannot be interfered with the processing of energy production through biomass (Sanderson et al., 2020). With biomass production, energy is released their child dependents of energy supply from foreign countries, thus saving the cost spent on energy expenditure.
It is prudent for Canada's government to start using energy because it is always available for use in every part of the country (NRCAN., 2020). Biomass energy is important because it will reduce the over-reliance on fossil fuel. The production of biomass will come with various base benefits to companies like the increase in their Revenue income because the companies will spend less on the sources of energy (Infield et al., 2020). Also, the cost of living in Canada will be lower because the residents will spend less to acquire services that require energy use. Energy has less carbon emission to the environment and can be produced inland Hills, which is an advantage to Canada's people. Therefore, the Canadian government needs to ensure that renewable sources of energy are put into place.
Conclusion
Biomass energy is the best alternative energy source that the Canadian people should embrace for the future production of energy. With the negative impact that the non-renewable sources of energy have on the environment, it is good that the world adjusts to biomass production as an alternative energy source. The biomass production is cheap and is readily available for use to relatively large numbers of people. As the hazardous process of non-renewable production indeed, it was difficult for the government of Canada to continue producing energy using non-renewable sources. Therefore, it was recommended that the government enforce biomass energy production because it does not emit harmful particles to the environment.
