The primary goal of the experiment is to show how economic growth influences carbon productivity in developed and less developed countries.
Background Information
Carbon productivity is the gross domestic product per unit of carbon dioxide emitted and is a parameter which governments across the world use in addressing the challenges of climate change. Carbon productivity plays a big role in global warming and environmental degradation. In this paper, we examine how the GDP per capita affect carbon emission in developed and developing countries (Wei, 2011).
The early stages of economic growth exert too much pressure on the environment until it deteriorates. As the economy improves, the quality of the environment improves due to the reduced pressure on our environment. Economic growth goes in line with increased carbon emission that is attributed to increased industrial activities that do not observe environmentally friendly techniques. Carbon productivity is directly proportional to economic growth for developing countries because of the high level of industrial activities.
Humanity is faced with two challenges, which are economic growth and environmental preservation. It should be noted that the environment is upfront, among other current issues in developed and developing countries. The worsening quality of our environment brings to the fore issues such as drastic climate change and global warming that arise from greenhouse gases (Wei, 2011). The discussion around environmental conservation is ecologically relevant when compared to financial benefits because these are decisions that are directly linked to the progress of future generations. Corrupting the quality and quantity of the environment is a practice of industrialization that is a key component of economic growth.
Environmental degradation is the corruption of the environment by the consumption of resources like water, air, and soil, as well as eradicating wildlife. It is any practice in the natural environment that is undesirable. The primary cause of environmental degradation is the increased human population and economic growth. Environmental degradation occurs in numerous ways that include the depletion of natural resources, the application of harmful technologies, and the expanding human population. The impact of an increase in GDP per capita to carbon productivity is multifaceted that requires extensive research that will set up economic and environmental policies that are effective.
Environmental degradation is a result of the depletion of natural resources on earth that causes a compromised environment in the form of overpopulation and polluted air. There is room to stop the destruction of the environment by organizing environmental education that will protect future generations. And this is because; an informed society will promote environmental preservation and reduce carbon productivity. Economic growth in every country depends on numerous factors that all point towards industrial growth which leads to an increase in GDP per capita. As such, to support high economic growth, different economies have adopted different mechanisms based on the characteristics of every country.
Hypothesis
The carbon footprint is directly proportional to the number of economic activities in developed and developing countries.
Motivation
A study on carbon productivity focuses on the fear of its effects on the environment, such as global warming and environmental degradation. It has been established that several companies have been forced to adhere to the demands of environmental conservation, and in so doing, they are seen to be operating morally and saving future generations. This research and awareness seek to change the behavior of companies by encouraging them to save energy and avoid using economically destructive technologies in manufacturing.
Variation Relationship Between Carbon Footprint and Economic Growth
There are variations in the country's economic growth across periods, but economic growth has a direct impact on the increase in carbon productivity. My hypothesis looks at China as one of the rapidly developing countries in the world and its efforts to contain its carbon footprint.

The age group wasn't considered because the effects of the environment affect all. The questionnaire had no place for the interviewees to fill their age because environmental degradation is a global disaster.

Method
The questions in the questionnaires were detailed and direct to the subject of discussion to achieve the objectives of the research and provide accurate information as far as environmental degradation is concerned (Victor, 2019). A questionnaire has been established as an effective way through which attitudes, opinions, behavior, and numerous subjects are measured. Questionnaires are inexpensive and cost-effective as I established. And this is because I was able to email my correspondents in China who send them back after they were done filling out. And this could have been very expensive, had I been required to travel to the Republic of China to acquire this information.
Ten students across three universities and ten employees from ten companies participated in filling out the questionnaire
The participants were assured that the information they were giving would only be used in the research and will never be disclosed to other parties. Three of the participants who are employees of big companies declined to participate in filling out the questionnaire as they feared that the information could be leaked to their bosses.
The respondents received were analyzed concerning the questions that guided the final solution.

The mean of the respondents is acquired to established at what extend environmental degradation is experienced in China. The formulae for mean or the average value is:

Discussion
Based on the information acquired from this analysis, economic growth results have a direct link to the high carbon footprint. The results have core practical and dire implications for policymakers. There is a need to adopt low-carbon technologies that will reduce carbon emissions and enable sustainable economic growth. And this will help in keeping the environment green and preserve the environment for the sake of future generations in both developed and developing countries.
The result indicates that economic growth is directly proportional to an increase in carbon productivity (Muhammad & Balsalobre, 2019)., an increase in carbon productivity leads to an automatic increase in GDP per capita. The effect of economic growth on carbon productivity is the same as the impact of economic growth on containing pollution of water and bettering urban sanitation. The common denominator on the two cases could be analyzing the external costs of the unwanted output. However, a slight boost in carbon productivity is not enough to handle the level of carbon emission. Even though it has been established that economic growth goes hand in hand with carbon productivity, governments across the globe in developed and developing countries should not forget to direct their focus on raising GDP per capita. To absolutely curb carbon footprint is a big challenge that requires all sectors to unite so that better results can be achieved that protects future generations.
Conclusion
The results show that economic growth impacts positively on carbon productivity, and the effect is nonlinear according to periods. Two regimes are close to the relationship between carbon productivity and economic growth, and the transition between them happens very fast. Whenever the association between carbon productivity and economic growth achieves a high regime status, it becomes stable. It should be noted that focusing on achieving high carbon productivity is not enough to curb carbon emissions, and that is why several means need to be accommodated to contain carbon emissions.
