Throughout Marvel's films, music has always been used to engage the various roles in the movie era, such as the accentuated character of a person (Favreau n.p). Moreover, artists that play multiple roles are not limited to the music played. This means that high-profile stars have made Marvel films use music throughout their production. Even though Iron Man had assembled the list of rock music to be used in filming, two more entries, such as Spider-man and the Avengers, also used the same trend. The essay will elaborate more on the importance of music in the 'Iron Man movie.

Iron Man was a film that contained an original soundtrack that had music composed by Ramin Djawadi. The track was also produced by Remote Control and Hans Zimmer productions in 2008 by Lion Gate Records. Tom Morello, an artist, known for playing the guitar, was the only musician that appeared in the directorial debut of iron man. John Favreau, a director, was the one that recruited Morello to play the music in Iron Man film (Neumeyer & Buhler 224). His moment in the movie was to portray the terrorist soldiers that eliminated Tony Stark during the incarnation of the armor prototype. Morello also played a part in guitar parts for the sequel and movie 'Iron Man two.'

Music also became prominent in the production of the film after John Debney joined the team in music production. The interest in music made the producers focus heavily on electric guitar recorded with a rock band and traditional orchestra. The soundtrack was also made interesting after the song was incorporated with a theme that had a big band-style arrangement collaborated by Favreau. The music also had recognizable tracks that institutionalized the long rambling spoken lyrics combined with energized, frantic chorus (Favreau n.p). The song played in the film also had a reflection and dichotomy that reflected on the billionaire's style when the future of Iron Man was being developed in the garage.

The soundtrack used in the film was negatively criticized because of using the remote control and electric guitar influences, the inclusion and use of the modern, original cover forms, and the classic theme was positively received. This also made the music vital after it was nominated as the best song used in 'Iron Man' in the 51st Granny Awards (Neumeyer & Buhler 227). Initially, the song was unknown because of Djawadi, but after the release, the music acclaimed many fans, especially the ones that watched iron man.

Music in the film composed by various composers like that done by Ramin Djawadi had multiple transitions that referenced the Iron Man. This made the music to be used in franchising in the Marvel projects. Even though the critical response of the music was mixed with a lack of identifiable and memorable themes as compared to other franchises, it modified the lack of continuity in the Iron man movie (Neumeyer & Buhler 229). Despite such errors, the soundtrack showed appreciation for individual work to composers like Tyler and Silvestri after they established consistency in the tone and thematic continuity.

The Black Sabbath song 'Iron Man' was influenced by the Marvel Comics characters that used similar names. Even though Marvel had a superhero back in 1963, Geezer Butler wrote the iconic song used in the movie. The soundtrack also became a cornerstone that credited the film in the history of metal (Neumeyer & Buhler 229). Iron man was not only credited as the only film that played metal songs but also had a track that summed up the story.

Unlike most films, most sound effects never give the audience the thunderous resounding mood, such as the guttural, terrifying Hulk roars, or Iron Man's armor without the backup of music. Wolverine's menacing or Spiderman's iconic twhips, for instance, use ambiguous music to guide the onomatopoetic audience (Neumeyer & Buhler 245). Therefore, balloon styles and the sound effect icons blend with the motion lines of the film to contribute to the continuity of the comic. This is to how the sound effects and score add to the unity of the sequel movies.

The iron man movie, in this case, has not gone through this challenge because Debney, Zimmer, and Favreau developed a cohesive sound by varying and retaining the heavy metal vibes with industrial tones. The importance of these sounds is that it created a variation between the heavy metal vibes and registers by hammering of the pieces that accompanied the heavy beats used in Iron Mans soundtrack 'the Black Sabbath,' (Favreau n.p). This not only blended with the aesthetic of the film but also created a new tone.

Conclusion

Iron Man as analyzed in the essay, is a film that used music to pass the sound effects and mood of the movie. This means that high-profile stars have made Marvel films use music throughout their production. Music in the film composed by various composers like that done by Ramin Djawadi had multiple transitions that referenced Iron Man. This made the music to be used in franchising in the Marvel projects. Even though the critical response to the music was mixed with a lack of identifiable and memorable themes as compared to other franchises, it modified the lack of continuity in the Iron Man movie.
