Personality indicates the vital and relatively stable behavioral aspects. Primarily, when individuals engage in their day-to-day conversations, they often refer to the personality types of people they know. In most cases, filmmakers, playwrights, and novels make regular utilization of the personality of principal characters in their stories, thus making them become a great attraction to many. Over time, the phrase "personality" has become part of everyday communication; personality theories are generated by all people every time we answer the question, "What is he or she like?"
Based on the results of the test I took, I can consider myself an extrovert as I focus most of my energy outward. This implies that I like taking part in outdoor activities rather than staying indoors. In essence, I am the type of person who has to experience the world to comprehend it; thus, I tend to enjoy a lot of activities. People around me view me as social as I am eager to meet new people every day because I enjoy getting to know new people all the time. More so, I am a very talkative person, and I mostly come up with my ideas best by saying them out loud. For this reason, it is easy for me to meet new individuals and I regularly do well in social functions or situations. I also have no problems when asked to answer specific questions, and it is easy for me to persuade others to agree with my answers.
More specifically, I entirely agree with the results that I am an extrovert because I have realized over time that I mostly enjoy taking part in outdoor activities. I am not the type of person who mostly stays at home to either watch movies or read novels since I get bored easily when I stay indoors. As a result, I try to keep myself occupied by engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, attending social functions, and meeting up with friends. Indeed, I enjoyed taking the test as it was fun for me to examine my personality traits even though I somehow knew that I am typically an extrovert based on my characteristics. Therefore, there is nothing concerning the results that astonished me.
Notably, my chosen TV personalities are Kanye West, Angelina Jolie, and Oprah Winfrey. Kanye West is an American entrepreneur, rapper, fashion designer, as well as a songwriter. I would classify him as a personality type ISFJ. In other words, he is an introvert, sensing, feeling, and judging personality. Kanye West possesses a rich inner world that is not easily seen by observers and because of his personality type, he regularly takes in information concerning situations and individuals that is personally valuable to him, and stores it away.
Essentially, I would classify Kanye West as an introvert mainly because he is very thoughtful and has troubles answering questions. For example, during his interview with BBC in 2015, the interviewer asked him what he had learned so far about himself since he became a family man. Surprisingly, West answered that he did not have the answer at that time and that he needed more time. This shows that he is undoubtedly an introvert. Again, Kanye West profoundly acts on his feelings. In this regard, he is sensitive to the needs and reactions of people, and he has a likelihood of using his feelings as reactionary. For example, he came up with the album 808s and Heartbreak in 2008 at a time when he was emotionally drained, and he felt like he was lost due to his mother's death and his relationship with his girlfriend had also ended. Consequently, he channeled his pain and feelings into producing the album.
Also, West is an ISFJ because he has publicly disapproved the results of award shows. For instance, in 2004, he walked out of the American Music Awards because he did not get an award which he felt that he deserved. Similarly, he defended Beyonce when she felt that she earned an award that was not given to her. Markedly, his outbursts at award shows indicate that West cares about justice and fairness. He will not stand for what he sees to be an injustice.
On the other hand, Angelina Jolie is an American Actress and humanitarian. I would classify her as a personality type ESTP, meaning extrovert, sensing, thinking and perceiving. She is honest, bold, and adaptable. As seen from her advocacy and film work, she loves adventure, action, and she always puts her words into action. In addition, she is a risk taker, straight-forward, and engages in a number of activities. Angelina Jolie enjoys traveling and meeting new individuals, and she further longs to experience all of life. Due to her inspiring personality, she makes friends easily and attracts individuals from all walks of life. At the same time, she has a superb ability to motivate others, and she normally has a way with words.
Chiefly, Jolie prefers to live in the present moment, instead of dwelling on past experiences or daydreaming about how the future will be. For the most part, she is generally tuned into the present moment and often relies on thinking other than feelings. She is terrific in protecting her emotions from the world; for instance, she continued with her humanitarian and acting work as if nothing had happened after her divorce from Brad Pitt. She showed the world that she was strong as well as emotionally stable and that most of her arguments are logical, and she is not reluctant in speaking her mind.
Oprah Winfrey is an American actress, talk show host, and producer. I would classify her personality type as ENFJ. That is to say, she is an extrovert, intuition, feeling, and judging individual. In this regard, her focus is mostly on others. More specifically, she possesses excellent people skills; hence, it is easy for her to interact and make friends with people. Admittedly, she truly comprehends and cares about others, and she tries to bring out the best in other people as well. An illustration of this is how she has donated approximately $50 million to charity. Moreover, she willingly sold some of her clothes and gave the money to local organizations. This indicates that she utilizes her fame to inspire individuals.
Additionally, I would categorize Oprah Winfrey as an ENFJ because she loves challenges. She rose to fame from a humble background and managed to overcome all obstacles in order to be successful in life. Her hard work and values have remarkably paid off to provide her with the rewards she deserves. Typically, she relies on the approval of other people; therefore, her fans make her feel accepted and rewarded. Moreover, she values honesty and justice; hence, she is dependable and regularly a vital element in the community. Oprah is also willing to work for a better universe realistically.
In conclusion, the personality of a person indicates his or her behavioral aspects. The phrase personality has distinctly become part of our everyday communication. Given the above examples, it is clear that people possess different personality types; for example, I classified Kanye West as an ISFJ personality, Angelina Jolie as an ESTP personality, and lastly Oprah Winfrey as an ENFJ personality. Therefore, it is not possible for all people to have the same personality type.
