It is evident that Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, and Andrew Jackson had significant contributions in the American political system. Thomas Jefferson was the third president of the USA from 1801 to 1809 and the famous author of the Declaration of Independence which saw the US cease from being part of the British Empire. He was more concerned about the equality of all people such that the country would exist without the hierarchical systems. In 1806, Jefferson called for an act that abolished the slave trade in the US (Martin, 2015).

Alexander Hamilton was one of the founding father of United States is famous for writing The Federalist Papers that enabled the ratification of the American constitution. Unlike Jefferson, Hamilton believed in a more hierarchical political and economic system. In his essays, Hamilton argued that the Constitution would bring a national government with sufficient powers to protect all the people against any convulsions and external attacks (Magnet, 2009).

Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of the US from 1829 to 1837 who is the founder of the Democratic Party that aimed at fighting for more democracy for the common man. His desire and actions are similar to Jefferson's where he played a leading role in representing the poor evident through his fight against the Second Bank of the United States (Yoo, 2008). Through his presidency, Jackson was able to minimize corruption by asking the Congress to amend the embezzlement laws to reduce fraudulent activities in the government system.

Based on the views of these three prominent persons, I feel that Hamilton's theory is the most appropriate model that is useful to Homeland's security disaster management. This is because of Hamilton's model advocates for a government system that strives to protect its people against any external attacks, damages, or disasters (Kahan, 2016). Furthermore, Psalm 140:4 states that;

Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet.

This scripture shows that people are always on the fear from attacks from the violent and wicked people and hence they seek for safety and security. Therefore, the scripture is relevant to Homeland's Security disaster management system that aims to provide security and protection to people against disaster and external attacks.
