The goals of every military service require hierarchical coordination and smooth internal operation where following a command is not an option but an authoritative instruction that every officer must observe. Many standards and requirements of work in a non-military service may not be deemed as essential in the military service. For instance, punishment is not seen as a positive act in the normal life of a person, whoever, in the military, it becomes an important correctional process. For the junior soldiers in the military service, integrity is usually instilled at the beginning of the training process and as an individual continues providing services they grasp army values which are even applicable to off duties. The information in the U.S military usually flows down from the top management, and what the non-commissioned officers are giving out is a command that has been scrutinized by the top military officers. Disobeying such commands means going against the codes of conduct of the entire military service. Every soldier must, therefore, pay attention and respect the orders given by the non-commissioned military officers.
