Calculation of physical activity index

For each daily energy by the individual woman, average daily energy is achieved by multiplication of frequency of the activity performance by the duration average of engaging activity by the cost energy (kilocalories against kilogram weight of a body per hour) in the activity (Oomen et al., 2019). The physical index has calculated the summation of daily energy in all activity expenditures. The women respondent classification follows; 3.0 kcal/kg/day or more equal to physical activity; 1.5-2.9 kcal/kg/day = moderately active; less than 1.5 kcal per day being equated to inactive and dull.

Calculate Mavis’s and Monique’s BMIs and PAI.

BMI=kg/m2

Mavis

Weight =150lb, height = 5’3’’

1 lb. = 0.45359237kg

Mavis’ weight in kg = m(lb)×0.45359237150 lb×0.45359237 =68.0388555 kg1 ft = 12 inches

1inch = 2.54 cm

Mavis’ height in cm = (hft×12) +(hinch× 2.54) (5×12 )=(60+3)×2.54)=160.02 cm Conversion of centimeters into meters

100cm = 1 m

Mavis’ height in m=hcm100= 160.2⁄100 =1.602mMavis’ BMI = kgm2 =68.0388555 kg1.6022 = 68.0388555 kg2.566404 =26.6kgm2 BMI classification; 26.6kgm2 overweight

Monique

Weight =130lb, height = 5’7’’

1 lb = 0.45359237kg

Monique’s weight in kg = m(lb)×0.45359237

=130 lb×0.45359237 = 58.9670081 kg1 ft = 12 inches

1inch = 2.54 cm

Mavis’ height in cm = (h(ft) ×12)+(hinch×2.54) =5×12 +(60+7 )×2.54 =170.18 cm Conversion of centimeters into meters

100cm = 1 m

Mavis’ height in m =h(cm)100= 170.18cm100=1.7018 mMonique’s BMI =kgm2=58.9670081 1.70182 = 58.96700812.89612324 =20.4 kgm2BMI classification = 20.4 kgm2 normal weight

Estimate Mavis’s and Monique’s RMRs using the formulas in Table 4-4. Note that to use these formulas, convert weight to kg and height to cm.

Mavis’ RMR = WHO: (14.7 × 68.03) + 496 = 1496 kcal/dayHarris-Benedict: 447 + (9.25 X 68.03) + (3.10 X 170.18) – (4.33 X 30) =1442.44 kcal/day

Owens Formula: 795 + (7.18 X 68.03) = 1283.46 kcal/day

Mifflin et al: (9.99 X 68.03) + (6.25 X 160.02) – 4.92 X 30 – 161 = 1371.14 kcal/day

Monique’s RMR= WHO: (14.7 × 58.97) + 496 = 1362 kcal/dayHarris-Benedict: 447 + (9.25 X 58.97) + (3.10 X 170.18) – (4.33 X 30) = 1390 kcal/day

Owens Formula: 795 + (7.18 X 58.97) = 1218 kcal/day

Mifflin et al: (9.99 X 58.97) + (6.25 X 170.18) – 4.92 X 30 – 161 = 1344 kcal/day

What was the highest estimate of? The lowest?

Highest RMR= Mavis 1496 kcal/day Monique (WHO formula) Monique 1390 kcal/day (Harris-Benedict Formula)

Lowest RMR= Mavis 1283 kcal/day Monique 1218 kcal/day Both were Owens Formula

The Deducted Conclusion from The Calculation

Several factors are affecting the formation, and the determination takes the factor in women's gender—the physical activity in society. The following are the factors that affect the PAI. The recreational physical and sports in society (Amador et al., 2018). The duties in the home working and the family care with the maintenance of the home duties. The physical activities in the commute and the physical activity in the daily work of the society. It gives the varying in the s=women and needs to be health-wise and the general public health.
