Lord of the Rings is one of the biggest movies of the last decade. The film is an epic fantasy adventure movie based on the books by J. R. R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings." The three actors and actresses I will identify for the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" are Sean Astin, Liv Tyler, and Elijah Wood. The film identifies the actors in an acting style of acting in the movie. Firstly, Elijah Woods plays Frodo Baggins, whose main aim is to destroy the "one" ring. The character changes as the film builds up and becomes more difficult. Nature becomes relatable, and there is no point in the movie where the viewer cannot point out any part of this transition where he or she can state he is acting, it feels natural.

Sean Astin, in the film, plays the character of Sam Gamgee, whose role is to help Frodo in his journey to destroy the one ring. In being a method actor in the film, he becomes genuinely relatable sometimes more than Frodo. Moreover, the character in The Grows in had not traveled such a long distance before. Sam Gamgee's character goes through much inner conflict, and he goes through the change alone as Frodo is being consumed by the one ring. Moreover, the acting is perfectly fitting together as it is not forced. Being able to transition perfectly and have the character be believable is truly a talent.

On the other hand, Liv Tyler, in the film Arwen Undomiel is an Elf and has a love interest with Aragon. They type of acting style portrayed here is method acting and also hare dedication to the character. Moreover, she has to learn a new language to improve and grow her role to speak elven. Primarily, it is not an easy task to make it seem natural to talk a language that does not even exist.

The role of sound in a film or video is as means of expression. Moreover, it is the most important future in movies as it helps communicate the idea of feeling of the movie to the audience. Movies are a way of conveying information through images but they are not enough to pass the message. At this stage is where dialogue comes in and it is a great tool used for creative expression and movies and films are based on intelligent conversations. Importantly, it is not common to show something using both sound and picture in feature films as this can been seen to double the message unnecessarily.

Sound effects are used in movies and films to bring into life unfamiliar settings. For instance, a futuristic or imaginative location. Showing a busy street with traffic and now sound can be crucial in telling the audience how the character might feel. For instance, detached from their preoccupied or surrounding with traumatic personal event.

Moreover, music can create the right sort of atmosphere in the movie and also arousing feelings of anger, joy, and sadness. The music can be classical or any type. However, it is important to ensure that the music falls in line with the theme of the movie. Moreover, it needs to be of the right tone. The audience should be able to connect the dots and understand the message the is being communicated.

The film "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" used different categories of sound which are sound effect, dialogue and music. Throughout the movie background music is played. The music in the movie it draws attention of the audience creating a connection with the film. Primarily, the orchestral music in the film coincides with the action scenes and it also adds to the dram in the whole movie. Moreover, in the war scenes the music tempo and in the sad scenes the music is slow and moving. Consequently, when the fellowship is travelling the music instills urgency and is fast passed in the viewers. The score in the is an excellent example of non-diegetic sounds. Although the movie was interesting and appealing had the score been removed the scenes would have not transition smoothly and the connection with the characters and the action would have not risen to such high levels.

In several battle scenes the noise of the horse made as they moved toward war, the sound of hooves of the horses on the ground, and noise of the fires of Mordor are important examples of sound effects. These sounds are important as they help in setting the mood of the scenes and the whole movies. Moreover, the sound effects represent the urgency and the dread the characters experience. Consequently, this also helps the audience to connect with the characters and the tory.

Dialogue in the movie is somewhat that of old English. For example, each group of charactering the film has their own language and dialect. This is instrumental as it helps differentiate them and it indicates that the come from different culture and background. Primarily, the dialogue and how the actors are portrayed coupled with the sound effects and the score made the film stand out. The directors, editors, cinematographers, producers and the actors in the film played an essential role in the outcome of the movie and making it one of the best to ever been produced.
