As a community health nurse with knowledge of SMART techniques, I will address the issue in three ways. First, I will create awareness of the depth of mental health and how suicidal it can be. In so doing, I will associate more with people who did not know the adverse impact of mental illness. Second, I will create a community-based counseling group with fellow nurses and volunteers to offer basic counseling to affected individuals (People, 2018). Lastly, I will consult with the Houston Health Department to increase the number of psychiatric centers within Bellaire.
